Hope Tala is continuing to make waves with her new single, ‘Thank Goodness’. The West London artist is regarded as one of the most exciting up-and-coming voices in the modern R&B space, and this track only continues to solidify that reputation. Her silky voice glides over a luscious accompaniment, with effortlessly catchy melodies knowing just where to sit amongst the syncopated groove of the snare drum. “I experienced a pretty horrible breakup not too long before writing this song,” she explains. “As I explained everything that had been going on in my life at the time to Caroline Ailin and Stint, who I made it with, I used the phrase ‘thank goodness’.
